Description: This is a non-degree, hybrid program for those seeking CPE in an Orthodox Christian environment. Students must have a bachelor's degree to receive credit for the class. The course begins with a retreat at the Antiochian Village. After the retreat are 14-15 sessions (depending on the liturgical calendar). This course is for clergy only. A detailed schedule is posted below the registration forms.

Retreat Information: Please arrive by 6 PM Eastern on Tuesday for dinner together. Meals together are an important part of the retreat. We will depart at 9 AM Eastern on Friday. Physical attendance the retreat is required for this course.

Length of spring course: 14 weeks/classes PLUS one retreat
Time: Tuesdays 12-1:30 PM
Class length: 90 minutes per class
Maximum Number of students: 7
Jurisdiction: Open to all jurisdictions.

Cost: Three payments are scheduled totaling $850

  • Due when you register below: $250

  • Due November 1: $575 for single occupancy retreat (January 10-13, 2023)

  • Due at the retreat: $25 to CPE accrediting agency, check or money order

Deacons: We presume that deacons who register have received a blessing from their priest to take this class.
