NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ORTHODOX CHAPLAINS

A SPECIALIZED MINISTRY OF THE ST. ATHANASIUS COLLEGE

Dear Reader:
Thank you for your interest in the National Association for Orthodox Chaplains (NAOC), a
specialized ministry of St. Athanasius College. The NAOC offers Orthodox Christian clergy the opportunity to train and pursue professional chaplaincy certification in a uniquely Orthodox context and environment. The NAOC fellowship grants one extended unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) each year, with a rotating four-year reading curriculum. Fellows who complete two years in the fellowship will be eligible to apply for credentialing as a Certified Associate Clinical Chaplain (CACC). Clergy who accumulate an additional two units (for a total of four) will be eligible to apply for credentialing as a Board-Certified Clinical Chaplain (BCCC). If any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us through the St. Athanasius Registrar.

Yours, with anticipation,
Fr. David Alexander
Bishop JOHN (Abdalah)
